Keep the box. Do not even write on the box, this will fail your application
Keep everything that comes with the phone/tablet; the box together with all its contents must go back to Vodacom Head Office.
There cannot be any scratch marks on the phone/tablet. Some companies will decline even the smallest, hairline scratch. A cover is almost always the best idea.
Vodacom Head Office will test the phone. If no fault is found, you may be liable for costs. Kindly note that you cannot return the product if you do not like it or cannot operate it due to it being too complicated.
The process takes a couple of days and may even take a week or more to be settled. Firstly, RAM picks up the phones only once a day. This means that you should hand your phone in on a Sunday or Monday rather than a Friday, for example. Unfortunately, you will not be able to get another product at all until Head Office has given permission for the exchange.
You will not be refunded for accessories, for example, a screen protector that sticks onto the screen. This issue should be taken up with the specific manufacturer, and not the service provider. The manufacturer will be responsible for paying your service provider for your replacement phone, as the service provider did not make the phone themselves. It is therefor a manufacturing issue and speaking from experience, people often do not get their money or accessories back.
Kindly note that the product should be tested fully within the seven-day limit, as no late applications will be accepted. You will have to keep your receipt with your box for the seven days.
You may be able to take a different colour but not a different model at all.
*If the product gives you any problems in store, you are welcome to ask for an Instore Failure, which will mean that the store still had ownership before you took it home. The store can possibly exchange the phone for you immediately, depending on the problem, and stock availability.
