Essential shoes for sneaker heads like me!
So, you consider yourself a sneakerhead? A connoisseur of sneakers? A sneaker collector even? Well, then you are not alone and this article is for you!
Sometimes it is not that easy to just get new shoes. If you don’t have bunions already, you are a lucky person and should continue looking after your feet! Bunions and injuries can also cause ‘normal width’ shoes to hurt the wearer. So, there are many reasons why a person would try a shoe specifically made for their feet. Your feet directly have an influence on your back and posture and therefor buying the correct shoes is essential.
A tip to remember is to measure your feet at night and not first thing in the morning. Also, wear warm socks when you go shoe shopping as you will get a more realistic sense of what the new shoes will feel like when you have had them on for a whole day. If you go first thing in the morning, your feet will still be smaller and not as swollen. You may buy a shoe that fits in the morning but hurts in the afternoon.

Let’s start with problem feet like mentioned in the second paragraph. The Yeezy Boost 350 seems to be one of the best names in wide feet footwear. Also, the Airmax Thea is a great fit for ladies, whether pregnant or not, it sports lightweight cushioning to make the whole foot feel more comfortable. It is like you are walking on a cloud barefoot. I can go a whole day in mine and this includes setting up the tent and hiking. But they are also really stylish, and I prefer them to many other brands. Just because I have wide feet, doesn’t mean that I cannot also look good. And having a very nice shoe definitely means that less people notice how wide they are. Fashion and comfort in two shoes!
OMG, have you seen the Nike Flyknit sneaker? With its complex design system and stunning colors, they have become a fashion statement of their own. They are so gorgeous to look at that one might be forgiven for not knowing that they were marketed and designed as a performance sneaker for marathon runners. Being active doesn’t have to be boring but you’ll end up wearing these sneakers both off and on the track.
The Airmax 1 s the type of sneaker that gets you thinking. If I were to design a shoe, would it not just be a pretty good-looking shoe? I wouldn’t want to get hung up on little issues like how it looks with long pants. The shoe is the fashion statement for me and I am glad that I am not a shoe designer because there are little things I would have missed. Like literally, how does a pair of pants fit over the sneaker? Because we often wear them for their looks and comfort and not just because of the help with exercise. Now here is what makes the Airmax 1 designers legendary: a denim fits perfectly over the shoe and so do long pants. Wow! Talk about attention to detail, the Airmax 1 is a must for the avid sneaker collector.
For the patriot, an essential shoe to own would be the New Balance Sneaker. not the kind of shoe to stand out where color or design is concerned, but gets my vote for the overall comfort and attention to detail. The New Balance 998 for example is one of the top sellers and the pastel color scheme seems to fit with anything. Sweats, yoga pants, denims and many other fashion items can be worn with the New Balance 998. You can try the 997 or 1500 as well but my favorite is definitely the 998. But hey, go get your own favorite!
